Book 1, Bonners' Fairy

Bonners Fairy has become one of my favorite books ever. I urge everyone to explore what this work of imagination has to offer. I await more words of wonder and magic from the author of Bonners Fairy in the future. An inspiring read.

I loved your book! It was such a fun read! I can’t wait to see what happens to Haley and Henry in the next one!

While Patterson’s book is juvenile fiction, it was a refreshing look back at a time in my life when things were simpler – that of being 15 again. And yet, I think there is a fine line between fantasy and reality sometimes, something as adults, we need to embrace more often.

The world of Bonner’s Fairy was a treat into which to escape. It is the first book in Patterson’s planned series. I can’t wait for book two!

Bonners Fairy by Elizabeth Patterson, has been one of the most entertaining books I’ve had the gift of reading. At no time did I find it slow. The book was a page turner from the very beginning.

Charming, imaginative, and the only thing that could possibly make it better is the release of the next book soon. Very impressive.

Dear Elizabeth Patterson,

I read the book and I loved it. My favorite part was when Haley and Henry first got into Roan. I loved all the characters and the way you described things. You made me really want to taste rainbow dew. Anyway I loved the book. I think that a lot of people are going to like it too.

P.S. I loved the note that you wrote me in the book.

A New Kind of Battle is the second book in a series by Elizabeth Patterson. Her first was a spell binding and wonderful story I couldn’t put down. A New Kind of Battle is just as wonderful and again I couldn’t put it down.

Elizabeth is a fantastic story teller with characters so vivid and awesome; you are drawn into their world and lives. I can’t wait for book three. I have known Elizabeth for years and never knew she had this hidden talent and imagination. I have a new respect and love for her. Keep writing Elizabeth, you are amazing.

Although this book is geared more toward a “tween” audience, as an adult, I thoroughly enjoyed accompanying twins Haley and Henry on their journey into a magical world of fairies and legends in Bonner’s Fairy.

As adults, we sometime get bogged down in the hustle and stress of our everyday lives, forgetting that there is more to life than that. We need to allow ourselves to escape into our fantasies and dreams more often because it’s good for the soul. It’s the entire reason the “Harry Potter” books and “Lord of the Rings” series are so popular.

Bonner’s Fairy did that for me. It took me back to those years in my life when times were simpler and it gave me permission to remember the magic. Truly a fun book and a joy to read.

This fascinating tale tells of Haley and Henry and their childhood escapades into the land of the fairies to save Zeb from the obsidian stone of Molock.

Children of all ages will enjoy this story, for it is a compelling story of good over evil, and courage and love over fear and hate.

I thoroughly enjoyed this tale and eagerly await to hear more from our young hero's!

I met Elizabeth at a book signing and was delighted to get her book. I had no idea how fun it would be to read! I thought it would be more of a tween book but it appealed as an adult as well.

I would highly recommend it for all ages. What a fun tale of adventure and intrigue! Great book!!

Book 2, "A New Kind of Battle"

When I picked up Elizabeth Patterson’s first book Bonners Fairy, I lost a half nights sleep because I couldn’t put it down. I really enjoyed the story and couldn’t wait for book two to come out.

I was fortunate enough to get a copy of the manuscript of the first sequel to Bonners Fairy, A New Kind of Battle. I found the book fun, intriguing, humorous, and well written. I would recommend this story to anyone who is looking for a wonderful adventure, and I am anxiously awaiting book three.

Bonners Fairy: A New Kind of Battle sweeps you off into an enchanted world of fairies that can change size with a snap, witches on broomsticks, mermaids with beautiful shimmering tails, and creatures beyond imagination.

Patterson’s intricate details paint the picture of the captivating world of Roan so well, that you feel as though you are flying through the air with Haley, taking in the breathtaking sights or talking to the Bocan fish at Julius Caesar’s house.

It makes you believe that fairytales can be true, and wish on that falling star that you can explore the world with you own eyes. Bonners Fairy: A New Kind of Battle takes you to that world.

Book 3, "Mischief and Mayhem"

I recently was taking a trip back to the North East and needed a few books for my long flight from Reno. After hearing about Bonners Fairy through Elizabeth’s husband Dave, whom I work with, I was intrigued. He gave me a copy before I left and after reading the first one I was hooked!

Soon to follow, I was anxious to start the second book, A New Kind of Battle. Once I got my hands on a copy, it took me less than 24 hours to read. I was eager to find out what our favorite characters were up to, and how things were panning out in Bonner’s Ferry and Roan.

Shortly after completing this, I found out Elizabeth had finished the third book, Mischief and Mayhem. To my surprise I was given a copy of the manuscript to read before it even went to the publisher! Talk about luck!!

The third piece to the Bonners Fairy series is my favorite so far. With each turn of the page, the story unveils new and exciting turns and twists. The anticipation to find out what happens on the next page is so strong; you can not put the book down!

Elizabeth has a great way of telling a story. The imagination used to even begin this series is something I can only dream of having. Even down to the dancing fire fairies, everything in Roan holds so much magic and wonder it truly just makes the reader want to jump in the story and take some cruises around the woodlands with the rest of the characters.

I am ecstatic that I was able to get my hands on the manuscript so I could continue my journey with Haley and Henry. I can not wait for the fourth book to be done so I can see what new and exciting adventures the Twins find themselves involved in!

Patterson out does herself again in Mischief and Mayhem! More fairy tale characters from when you were a kid keep popping up in this mystical land of faries’ and magical creatures.

I read the book before bed and my imagination went wild in my dreams. I feel like a kid again, my imagination running free with thoughts of ‘could it really be true somewhere in another world’. Patterson paints such a vivid picture of the fairy world that you can only believe that it is real somewhere.

Hi Elizabeth, my name is Jessica Kirk, my grandma is Frances McClain. I'm writing to you to let you know how much I love your books. My grandma bought me the first book, and from the first time I opened it, I was hooked.

I am a teenager now, and I feel like I can relate to Haley a lot. She is also my favorite in the book, and I can't wait to see what happens between her and Valian.

I can't wait until my grandma calls to tell me another one is on the way. I can't wait to read the last book. I bet it will be great!

Every time I read these books, it feels like a movie just went off in my head, and it just takes me to a whole different world.

Book 4, "Sailing Toward Destiny"

Patterson does it again in, Sailing toward Destiny, bringing childhood characters to life and showing us how the bonds of love and friendship can conquer the most difficult of challenges.

She displays how a scary and impossible journey to find and kill Medusa can be accomplished with the help of friends and loved ones. It’s a great book and a must read series, can’t wait for the next one!

Book 5, "Secrets and Spies"

Although mainly an avid reader of historical fiction and non-fiction, I read the Bonners' Fairy series because my daughter is the Author.

I was absolutely amazed how they grabbed and held my interest from start to finish. They were a wonderful escape from the distressing events that normally occupy my thoughts in today's world. A refreshing change and a great read. Press on my daughter!

Book 6, "Curse of a Blue Moon"

I have loved reading these books. I get so caught up in this amazing world she has created and almost get lost in it all. The detail is so descriptive that I can almost see it as I read it. Sad it's coming to an end but excited to read the conclusion. Well done Elizabeth!

lHi! My name is Alexis. I am 16 years old and I live in Berthoud, Colorado. I have read all six of your books and I can't wait to read the seventh. My grandfather bought me the first five before he passed away and he actually got them signed by you.

II was wondering if you had any idea when your next book would be coming out? I'm so anxious to read it because of the massive, to be continued cliffhanger you used.

I love your books, and I dream of being an author some day. Thanks for giving me an awesome world to emerge myself into and new friends to have some crazy adventures with.

I started this series during a dark time in my life, recently losing hope of all love. Bonners' Fairy helped me escape reality as the words flowed so beautifully, transporting me to a land of magic, filled with adventure.

It brought me back to the light, believing that there is love, like the one Haley and Valian share. I am so excited for the new book after the cliffhanger in Curse of a Blue Moon. Thank you, Liz, for bringing the magic back into my life.

Reading this series of books has compelled me to write this. I enjoy reading very much, but this is the first time I have written anything about a book or the author.

When I finish each book, I can't wait for the next one. My granddaughter, Sierra, is also an Elizabeth Patterson fan.

Even though this series will end soon, I look forward to whatever comes next.
